
                          Samuel Ehrenbold studied Conservation 
                            Biology at the University of Bern and obtained his 
                            diploma in 2004 working on the distribution and reproduction 
                            biology of Wrynecks Jynx torquilla. From 2005 – 
                            2009 he as been working as a project manager and field 
                            taxonomist at Ökobüro Hugentobler AG, Altstätten. 
                            Since many years, he is working for the Swiss Ornithological 
                            Institute as a field ornithologist in different projects. 
                            From 2008 onwards he was a collaborator at the Pro 
                            Natura Luzern agency.
                          Within the project Hombori, he carried 
                            out an extensive bird census in the Hombori region 
                            from September to December 2009, including different 
                            places both in the plain and on the plateau. Furthermore, 
                            the aim was to take pictures of characteristic birds 
                            of the Hombori region.
